Amblitel's Surgery Center Performance Tools

The lifeblood of any Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) is driven by two things: its people and its performance. ASCs work diligently to find the right personnel to ensure that quality care is given to every patient. This includes interaction on the phone, in the waiting area, as well as in the operating and recovery rooms. An outpatient surgery center’s success and longevity is directly tied to this quality of care. As equally important is an ASC’s financial performance.

Amblitel has created two tools to help an ASC quickly assess clinical and financial performance. We call these tools “Amblitelligence”. These tools are part of a data collection repository that quickly helps assess portions of an ASC’s current revenue cycle and provides comparative ASC information. The first tool, Amblitel’s Outsource Assessment, is an “economic potential” assessment developed to quickly determine if it makes sense for an ASC to outsource many of its back office functions. The second tool, Amblitel’s ASC Benchmark Assessment, will go deeper into an outpatient surgery center’s performance and provide comparative administrative, clinical, and financial data.
